Join Amy Miller from the reputed NYC dance organization Gibney Dance for the “Move to Move Beyond” workshop, right on the KJCC Patio. Developed in collaboration with social workers and survivors of gender-based violence, the MTMB workshop by Gibney Dance is an evidence-based experience that opens opportunities for reflection, self-reclamation, and self-expression through somatic-based movement practices. Overall, the program, which was launched in 1999 in partnership with Sanctuary for Families, creates a space for using physical expression, awareness, and creativity to heal trauma.

Fridays on the Patio started in Fall 2021 as a space for community, conversation and food to share and enjoy. The programs are student-centered, but open to all.
