Screen printing workshop with Mobile Print Power (MPP)
Venue: KJCC Patio • 53 Washington Square South
Related: Fridays on the Patio

Join Mobile Print Power (MPP) on Friday, February 28th from 3- 5 pm for a screen printing workshop hosted by Espacio de Culturas in partnership with Graduate Student Working Group at Latinx Project and Bronx Community College. MPP will guide participants through their unique printmaking process, inspired by methodology of popular education. Using their “exhibition in a box” publication—which showcases over a decade of their work with the public—they’ll share insights into their artmaking and teaching practices.
As part of the workshop, participants will actively collaborate in the printmaking process, learning screen-printing techniques and contributing ideas that may shape graphics for future public workshops.
Special guests, NYU’s student group Other Content, will also join us to share their work on protest art and preview their upcoming exhibit. Don’t miss this opportunity to engage with thought-provoking art and learn printmaking techniques!
