Synopsis: After the late 19th-century Philippine revolution and declaration of independence from Spain, Madrid-educated Antonio Luna emerges as one of the fiercest generals of the Philippine forces in the ensuing Philippine-American war. The short-tempered general finds himself facing an enemy more formidable than the American army: His own treacherous countrymen.
