The KJCC Fridays on the Patio Program works to connect NYU students and faculty and invite them into the Center for cultural discussions and community building during select Fridays from 4-6pm. We aim to provide a diverse array of programming, so that all community members feel welcome and celebrated.

ESFERAS AND H-LABS ON THE PATIO. Come celebrate the publication of the latest issue of Esferas, NYU’s undergraduate Spanish and Portuguese journal. Focusing on themes of migration and asylum, this issue was produced in collaboration with NYU’s Asylum H-Lab. We will also hear from student participants and faculty coordinators from both the Asylum H-Lab (2020-2021) and the Cross/Currents H-Lab (2021-2022).

“H-Labs” are the Bennett-Polonsky Humanities Labs, an initiative sponsored by the Office of the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Academic Affairs and the NYU Center for the Humanities that are unique opportunities to engage in open-ended, interdisciplinary, and collaborative research and teaching for faculty and students at NYU.
